Connections to google servers

I have been using CurrPorts for a while and I always see active connections to sites like cg-in-f164.google.com

even when I am not on a Google website. I know that CCleaner uses google syndication, but I see it a lot on sites

where they don't use it. What is going on?

Connections and ports aren't my strong points and I can't explain what's happening.

You may be able to block them with Andavari's advice at the link below? :unsure:
