Computer is slow

I have CCleaner and was going to upgrade to Pro. The reason I am here is because my computer gets very slow when it's on for a few days. I'd like to know what is causing it to be so slow. When I do a speed test from various sites, they average around 65 mbs, so it not the connection.

Ok, so will CClenaer tell me what is using my resources to make the computer slow. I tried running cleaner but it didn’t seem to help. Does cleaner tell me what is causing slow computer? Program, memory or maybe other files?

if it is getting slower the longer it is left on, it could be a memory issue.

even servers at large sites get weekly maintenance (sometimes as simple as a reboot) for just such an issue.

if the speed is good for the first day the PC is restarted, why not turn it off every night?

CC will clean up your hard drive of crap - that's all it does (well, more or less).

as a side-effect, that MAY improve speed simply because there's less crap to wade through.

defragging your drive will be a better speed improving process.

and use Task Manager to find what processes are over-utilising CPU, Memory or Disk I/O.

You could have a buggy program installed that's causing a memory leak - when that happens the usual cure is to reboot.
