Computer History

Hi guys B)

I found this video at http://www.cnettv.com/9742-1_53-28982.html

Check out the 100 year old personal computer :D

Gotta get one of the Macintosh T.V.'s.

A one hundred year old computer.

I find that really neat- history is crazy.

Back in 1971, when Decimal currency was introduced in the UK, one of the clerks at my place of work used to work out the guys wages on a mechanical adding machine.

And if you don't know, before decimalisation, there were 12 shillings to a pound, and 240 pennies to a pound.

The day the new currency came into effect, that amazing little box of tricks was obsolete.

And here it is sitting on my desk 26 years later, still in perfect working order.

These are quite high definition pics, so you can see the detail on the back.

Nice keepsake.

Seeing that video reminded me it was there.

Not bad for a wireless keyboard. You should see the mouse!

Found mine Hazel.

Nice to see it with the cover off. I've been tempted to take a peek inside, but I had visions of cogs and levers suddenly flying all over the place.

Thanks for the link.
