I had edited a text file on my 16 GB USB-memory. When I tried to save it, my computer froze when only half the data had been written. My impression is that the newly saved file is not written precisely where the old file was located, so most likely the old version is still somewhere on my USB-memory. I have not used the USB-drive since the unfortunate incident, and I know several key words that I can search for in the text file, if an image of the USB-drive could be retrieved in ASCII-format.
Could someone direct me to i tool that helps me restore my lost file?
