Had free CC cleaner for quite a few years, always had trouble deleting history in Google Chrome, CC cleaner says its deleted but when I check its still there. So today I purchased CC Cleaner professional hoping to solve the problem. Now when I run CC Cleaner it tells me I must close Google Chrome to clear the history & cache but its not open!! I have tried restarting my PC now several times but I still have the same problem Close Google Chrome then Google Chrome is taking a long time to close, then should we force Google Chrome to close? When I say yes CC Cleaner tells me it has skipped erasing the history In Google Chrome. Is it possible to fix this problem? I am running Windows 10 on a desktop PC.
