Cleaning Windows 8.1?

Should CCleaner (v4.09...) be clearing the search history at Google.com? Are there other "things" that it doesn't clear that are cleaned when using Windows 7? Thanks. Bob

Try clearing the autocomplete for your browser as well, if you're not. That should clear the google search box history (unless you're logged into your google account and have search history activated)

CCleaner appears to be having a problem cleaning the freespace on the MFT !! It initially says approx 4 hours, then when I come back to after an hour or so it has gone to 10 hours+ !! Consequently I kill it before it ever wipes the drive freespace.

Is this a recognised problem with CCleaner v4.11.4619 (64 bit) ??
