cleaning before shutdown

Hi

I like the auto clean option but it slows down my computer and I have to wait longer until I am able to work. Would it be possible to add an option which allows automatic cleaning before shutdown?

just create a short cut to ccleaner and in the target box type (including the quote marks)

"C:\program files\ccleaner\ccleaner.exe" /AUTO /SHUTDOWN

replace c:\program files\ccleaner with the location of your program

then when you are ready to shutdown double click on the shortcut

Yes. Create that shortcut Nergal explains for example in the CCleaner start menu programs folder instead. Then right click it, select Properties, then input a keyboard 'Shortcut key' to use it, example: CTRL+SHIFT+C

Then when you want to CCleaner and Shutdown you'd just press simultaneously on the keyboard: CTRL+SHIFT+C

The only problem with a keyboard shortcut is if accidentally and/or inadvertently using it when doing something important, like burning a disc, backing up files, etc., since CCleaner will shutdown your PC with no confirmation.

this also carries the problem of it occuring while you are working on something else
