When you hover in windows 7 on the windows explorer and right click, you can see a list of the your most frequent folders visited. It would be great to have an option to clean this. thx.

Hi tolmarc,
I've found a way to clear these lists using custom folders in CCleaner. This will wipe out all of the jump list data including any pinned items you have
First we need to show hidden files and operating system files in Windows folder options. Go in to Control Panel > Folder Options > View Tab > toggle Show hidden files and folders and uncheck Hide protected operating system files.
Next go in to CCleaner > options > include folder > browse to C:\Users\yourwindowsprofile\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent.
Once that is added you can go to CCleaner's main menu and make sure custom files and folders are checked in the advanced section near the bottom.
Hopefully this is a temporary workaround until they are able to add better support for the jump lists that would include exclusions from deletion like they treat browser cookies and such.
Try out an analyze & clean and see if it works.
*Again, this will purge any pinned shortcuts you have added to the jump lists.
