Chrome won't go away

Howdy!

I am using free version 5.28.6005 (64-bit) of CCleaner and I cannot get it to "clean" Google Chrome from the Applications column in the Cleaner tab. Meaning even though I deleted chrome from the computer, I cannot delete chrome out of CCleaner, I guess you would say.

I uninstalled chrome many moons ago, but CCleaner shows it as if it is still there. Other than this, I have never had a problem with CCleaner, and this is not really a "problem", but... it could be and I want to find out if it is or not.

Any ideas?

Did you totally clean out Chrome from your computer?

Just Uninstalling it is not enough on it's own, Chrome is very persistent and uninstalling it still leaves files, folders, and registry entries behind

It could be that Ccleaner is seeing these old folders or reg entries.
