Chrome sessions aren't cleaned

Hi everyone, I'm using the last version of Ccleaner Pro

I tried to clean Google Chrome sessions. But when I started Google Chrome again, my tab were still active. So the clean sessions function seem not to be efficient anymore. Is anyone facing the same problem?

Have a great day. Best regards

Is your Chrome synced?

If it is then you will have to use Chrome itself to delete the synced settings, or turn off syncing.

CCleaner cannot touch the sync servers, it can only clean your computer.

Hi Nukecad, thank you for your answer.

My Google Chrome is synced with my email address. I made no change in its configuration from the time things were working well.

With previous Ccleaner versions, my sessions were cleared every time and no tab remained after cleaning.

Did Ccleaner make some change in its policy?

As far as I'm aware there has been no change to CCleaner policy, however browsers like Chrome and Firefox are constantly changing. (Chrome especially).

If your Chrome was being cleaned in the past but isn't now then it may be that Chrome, or a Chrome extension you have added at some time, is now still running a background task after you have closed it.

See this for more information about how to stop Chrome background tasks:
