I truly disappreciate chrome bundled in 3.18 install
i had to do a sys restore
add remove didnt show it and manually then remove it leaving GARBAGE IN MY REGISTRY
You could always try the portable or slim versions which don't have Chrome bundled.
And if you use the full version you can uncheck these:
I'm sorry that you feel that developers should not bundle software, in order to recoup some small amount of the $=time spent on making a wonderful free program. That said, it isn't like the developers have not provided you with MULTIPLE outs as outlined by @nodles
I haven't used the CCleaner installer for some time, but it sounds like the delay in the installation process which happens just before the "extras" options are displayed, is still there.
If that's the case, it's too easy for the unwary to click past the "opt out" page.
Just untick the appropiate tickboxes as suggested.
