Choise of freedom?

So here i was today, reinstalling windows and of course installing some apps I use. Firefox is my favorite browser and ccleaner was my favorite tool for quickly cleaning windows garbage.

To my astonishment, the installer lags a checkbox to disabe the installation of Chrome. And wors of all the installer happily pulled Chrome from a server and installed it on my PC. W.*.F. I want as little as posible to do with Google.. And hello no option to choose Not To Install...damn.

So a other good application ruined by a crappy "we force upon you" installer. :(

Time to look for a alternative I'd say!

Megnatar if you had perhaps not been as quick to click through the installer you would have seen the bit where you UNTICK the offer of an install of Chrome.

However if you install the slim build no offer of Chrome is made at all.

and another reason if no option to include/exclude Chrome showed up, it probably detected that Chrome and/or Google Toolbar was already present.
