Sorry if this seems like a simple question but can you automatically check the boxes for ALL files when restoring a HDD? I have a couple hundred music files (everything I've ever owned) and would rather not have to check each box individually. (Same with picture files, etc.)
I want to restore my HDD as close to exactly how it was as possible (except for all the misc progs/apps I never used anyway).
Yes, just check the box in the top l/h corner to check all files displayed. If you are selecting by file type then after recovering one type uncheck everything by clicking the top l/h box again before selecting the next type. I seem to remember that the checks remain against the files even if they are not displayed, so they will be recovered twice. Anyway, it's better to do the job cleanly.
But it appears from your other thread that you have checked the lot already.
