ccsetup223.exe is not a valid win32 application - help

Hello, I have downloaded Ccleaner from the site and also tried file hippo. I get the message: ccsetup223.exe is not a valid win32 application when clicking on the downloaded file on the desktop.

I have a Dell 64 bit laptop. Is there something wrong with the file? I downloaded to another identical laptop a previous version. I have searched and not found anything. Any ideas? thanks

Windows Vista Home 64 bit

Like I said, no issues loading on my other identical laptop.

It could be a corrupt download but you already downloaded it twice...

I've seen a weird glitched like that in other apps if the first time I download it it has the [2] in the file name then if I rename it and remove the [2] the install fails with a similar error.

So can you confirm whither you renamed the file (which usually shouldn't affect it), if yes rename it back, if not try renaming it, lolz.

I believe that number 2 is because it's the second copy downloaded.

Also, when I try to send it to the recycle bin, I notice it has 0 bytes. Very strange.

I have also tried earlier versions of the download, same thing.

Maybe Piriform can help.

Hmm, not sure how true this is. Try turning your av off for a second. Download from ccleanrs official site. and try it again.

apparently this is a possible solution. Dont quote me on it though.
