I am a very old user of CCleaner , recent update of CCleaner 7 is creating too many problems, it is not completing the scanning. At 86% it is struck and not moving further. I left my system for more than 12 hours, but no use. It is not even closing. I used task manger to close it. The next day I opened it, and it was showing 86% scanning, I was really surprised, and immediately I shut down and restarted my system. Horrible experience with this version, multiple times uninstalling and reinstalling, but the problem persists. It seems many people also facing same issue but still management is not resolved it. it is better to quit the CCleaner

Follow ALL of the instructions, particularly about turning off the Automatic Updating.
