:unsure: I downloaded ccleaner before the 1.32.345 update. I erased the existing CCleaner and downloaded the new version. Now when I hit the analyse or run cleaner button, the green progress bar just keeps going and going. Any suggestions?

not sure, try running it in safe mode?

If it's running then it's still doing something. I would just let it keep running until it's finished. How long did you let it run for?

Before this started the green progress bar made one or two passes and the information came up on the screen for items to delete. I have let it run for 10 minutes and finially gave up. In the frequently asked questions section it states that if you uninstall the old version first, you will loose your existing settings. Since I deleted the old version first, do I have to redowndload the old version Where do I get that from?

to get the old version, you click download from file hippo then the downloads are on the right.

BUT, maybe you didnt have as many boxes checked before.

if you just select one box, what happens?

it should erase or analyze the data in no time then.

it might be worth a try.

Thanks, I went to the above site and downloaded the older 131 version and newer 132 version of ccleaner. I deleted my present version, loaded 131 and then 132. I works fine now. :):) Thanks!

When you say "deleted the older version" - do you mean you uninstalled it? If you uninstall the previous version, you also lose all your settings. Better just install over the previous version to keep your CCleaner settings (Cookies to keep, etc.).

I uninstalled all of CCleaner from my hard drive and then reinstalled the older and then the newest version. I is working fine now.
