is it okay too wipe a c and d drive
Free space or entire drive? I don't see what's wrong with it but if you plan on the whole drive you will have to install everything again inclusing your operating system. This is for the C: drive at least which I assume is where you operating system is installed. What are the A: and D: drive? If they are partitions of your hard drive then that is fine but if they are floppy and CD/DVD drives you cannot wipe a CD/DVD unless it is rewritable. Not sure about floppies.
I've wiped floppies before with CCleaner way back when if first featured free space wiping.
If you are wanting to wipe the CD/DVD drive you will probably be surprised by what happens when you wipe drive C:\

You can only WFS on the system drive. I've no idea what would happen if you try to wipe a rewritable CD.
if you try to wipe a rewritable CD.
The only software I've ever seen that can "wipe" not really wipe but destroy a CD/DVD disc is Plextor's PlexTools when using a Plextor burner drive. Easier to just chop it up using strong scissors or melt it, which is way faster.
please note, the OP never mentioned wiping CDRs. D drive is most likly another harddrive on the original poster's computer
