CCleaner won't wipe MFT anymore

Hello, I used to wipe my MFT and free space with CCleaner all the time.

Just yesterday I tried wipe it again, but it seems as CCleaner cannot wipe MFT anymore. It always stops at 22% and will hang there for hours, then aborts the operation by itself. No wiping done.

Can someone help me please?

maybe it's hitting a bad block? Wiping (generally something you only want to do if you are selling the drive) excessively can cause your drive issues
