CCleaner vs IE Privacy Keeper

First of i love using CCleaner and have been using since the beginning.

Today, for the first time i used IE Privacy Keeper just to see if CCleaner was missing anything.

Before using it I used CCleaner thoroughly (including cleaning my registry files.)

As a matter of fact i did clean twice just to make sure nothing was missing. Then used to analyze option to see what is left to clean.

Afterwards, i used IE Privacy Keeper. I did not like their user interface but I found out that:

CCleaner does not clean Prefetch folder (C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch)

Although, CCleaner has an option to clean Old Prefetch Data and i did clean it.

However, when i viewed Prefetch Folder in IE Privacy Keeper user interface, there were so many files not cleaned by CCleaner.

I don't know difference between Old Prefetch Data and Prefetch Folder but i would prefer CCleaner to clean Prefetch folder as IE Privacy Keeper did.

Also, IE Privacy Keeper cleaned Flash Cookies (C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects)

I would also prefer in the future CCleaner has this option.

CCleaner is my first love so nothing can take its place.

I just love using it.

CCleaner is way too better than IE Privacy Keeper in my opinion but I am not computer savvy so please compare both products and let me know your thoughts.

Thanks

This isn't a comparison site for registry cleaners chrisalvin.

Most products will clean/not clean areas that others may not.

Ccleaner is known as one of the least aggressive cleaners out there, and can be customised to quite a lot of people's personal requirements.

To clean flash cookies using ccleaner, tick the adobe/Macromedia flash box under applications.

Welcome to the forum :)

And cleaning the prefetch folder is a myth that has no use or advantage for 99.9% of people, so a program that that still insists on cleaning it as a matter of course automatically goes way down in my estimation.
