I ran CCleaner and now when I go to my homepage(CNN.COM) I am unable to access the "local weather and news". I can enter my zip code, but when I click on "go" nothing happens. I have IE8 and Firefox and the result is the same with either. This problem occurred right after running CCleaner. I tried a system restore to a time before I ran the CCleaner, but it didn't help. Can You tell me how to correct this problem?

I don't if this will help however you could try:
1. Cleaning your browsers cache and cookies using their built-in cleaners.
2. Restart Windows.
3. Visit CNN.com, and then try to input your user information again.
4. If you're able to input your user information then close your web browser(s).
5. Open CCleaner and go into 'Options->Cookies' and move any CNN.com cookies using the button -> into the Cookies to Keep area, then close CCleaner.
Tip:
If CCleaner doesn't list any cookies you can right click in the Cookies to Keep area and choose Intelligent Scan to hopefully find them.
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately it didn't work. I think CCleaner changed something in my computer as the problem started(on both IE8 and FIREFOX) right after I ran CCleaner. It's a relatively small problem, the kind that you obsess over untill you go crazy!!!!!
