The latest version 5.23.5808 (64-bit) has a some kind of bug. The cleaning takes a long time. After you've clicked "RunCleaner", the cleaning program stays in place and does not progress until after 30 seconds.

it's one of the issues with the latest release that the Dev Team is aware of.
you may want to stick with v5.22 until a solution is released.
I as well have noticed this. I also noticed when I run the cleaner it wont delete the file C:\Users\name here\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WebCache\V01.log This is something new. I do know that there is some controversy around this particular file and privacy as it retains you web activity.

yep, you have discovered one of the others issues with the new release. (sorry - no prize)
the issues that I'm aware of are, trouble cleaning 2 log files, IE, and speed.
I do know Piriform is aware of all of them, and they are working on them.
