OS - Windows 11 Pro v 24H2 Build(26100.2152).
Turn off the following:
Smart cleaning
Advanced > Minimize to system tray
Updates>keep CCleaner updated automatically
And, i think, don’t use performance optimizer (though i could be wrong as PO has its own service so may not need CCleaner in the system tray)
Thank you!! Mission accomplished!!
I can confirm that having Performance Optimiser running DOES NOT put an icon in the system tray.
At the moment it’s just having Smart Cleaning and/or Automatic Updating running that trigger Windows to put a CCleaner icon in the tray.
