you have to enable the tray icon option... then scan or clean directly and minimize CC... it will go to tray icons (icons where is the windows clock by default) and then check the tool tip that appears when you hover the CC tray icon...

The entry itself was removed earlier, so it only affects old versions.

I think that it was already updated long time ago... because I searched for that string all over my file (download like a month ago) and I didn't find it...

The reason you are not finding that entry is because it was in my winapp2.ini, not winapp.ini. It was a custom entry I put in there to delete any folder labeled 'INSTALL*' under Program Files. The latest version of CCleaner does not support this entry for some reason, known only to Mr. G, so I have now removed the entry from winapp2.ini. If you never had this entry, then you would not notice the symptoms. :-)
