Hello.

Sounds good MrG. Everything is looking nice, especially the secure deletion being sped up.

So...back to what everyone want to know. CCleaner 2.0 timeframe? :D:)

Thank you.

No news on CC2 yet. I'll let you know time frames when we work them out. Sorry! :)

Sounds great! Any fixes for this though?

I will be officially on vacation tomorrow, but I will have my laptop with me. If you are a big CCleaner Portable fan, once 1.39 is released expect a half a day to a day delay on it. I will update it as soon as I check the forums (Probably at nights).

Does it now erase file names?

I thought the new CCleaner was supposed to be out this week?

I thought the new CCleaner was supposed to be out this week?

That was the plan; however I rather have a well tested and debugged download than a timely one

sweet news. good times. especially the antivir addition!

I am an AntiVir user, btw :P

What does AntiVir leave behind anyhow, that CCleaner would clean?

I received an email that had a link and invited me to download v1.39.502. However, the link download v1.38, and I cannot find where to download v1.39.

Am I missing something?

Thanks.

Yea, seems to be a working update, some paying donator must have leaked it to Major Geeks.

That link is probably the one that contains other builds such as the slim version that I use and I usually have to wait a bit longer for the site to update.

Still not updated as of this posting.

Slim Build Link

Have made enquiries Humpty as I am also a slim build person! :)

Also prefer people to have the choice to use builds without the toolbar if they wish.

Slim build (and other builds) available now ;)

Does it now erase file names?

No answer yet to ^this^ question

Since Antivir now is in winapp.ini, i suppose we must download a new version of winapp2.ini,

or at least manually delete all the Antivir entries in winapp2.ini, in order to avoid a double detection.

Right? :)

However, IMHO this entry need some little improvements.

May i please pvt contact some of forum owners/moderators for this?

Thanks

However, IMHO this entry need some little improvements.

I removed many of those non-functional FileKey= entries long ago, and they're "updated" or whatever now in winapp.ini. As I already stated in another thread attempting to clean AntiVir logs with CCleaner is futile as AntiVir itself still retains them and they can only successfully be deleted via the Reports tab, and Events tab.

I am going to update winapp2.ini now. I am on vacation so I am just dropping in every now and then.
