CCleaner update wiped 9000+ files - Total System Failure! (Acer RTX 4060 / Ryzen 7)

Hello CCleaner Team,

I am writing this because your software just acted like a virus on my system. After the latest update, CCleaner deleted over 9,000 essential files without any proper warning.

As a result:

  1. My Wi-Fi drivers were completely wiped out, leaving me with no internet.

  2. My game settings (Forza Horizon 5 DLSS, etc.) and OBS Studio profiles were destroyed.

  3. My MSI Afterburner and RivaTuner configurations were deleted.

I had to perform a full system format and spend hours restoring my backups just to fix the mess YOUR ‘cleaning’ software caused. This wasn’t a cleanup; it was a system execution. I am a dedicated gamer using high-end hardware (Acer Nitro / RTX 4060 / Ryzen 7), and your software almost turned my machine into a brick.

Fix your update protocols before you destroy more users’ systems. I am officially done with CCleaner.
