ccleaner unable to install on windows server with iexplore disabled

Hey, I tried to install ccleaner on my windows 2008 r2 sp1 system, but prior to ccleaner I removed internet explorer with the command dism /online /Disable-Feature /FeatureName:Internet-Explorer-Optional-amd64

Well, ccleaner fails to install as it shows me 'the offer" which opens with firefox but I cannot continue as I am unable to select the offer denial or approval as it shows in the attached img.

Use the slim build

I used that, but I think the matter should be considered.

I thought this was a known issue that the general consensus was no-one knew for sure what caused it, and one suggestion was clicking the Next button too quickly.

but anyway, despite the reason, I've had that blank screen in the past, last time maybe a year ago, and I always put it down to all the dozens of other software installs I was doing prior to install CC and found a reboot fixed it.

so, obvious question, did you reboot and try again?
