CCleaner turn my pc off

Hello everyone,

I have just installed CCleaner on my pc at work, and now I just can't start the pc anymore.

Everytime I turn it on CCleaner instead of cleaning the pc turn it off.

I am just stuck and how can I get out of this problem?

If you boot the PC in Safe Mode (F8 during startup, pick from the list), you should be able to run CC and disable the "Run at startup" option.

If you can then reboot, check if CC causes the PC to crash just by running the cleaner.

If you still can't reboot, then either CC wasn't the problem, or CC may have deleted/altered something vital. THIS IS VERY RARE but some users have, for example, stored files in a TEMP folder then been surprised when these files are removed.

In fact that's what I almost did before reading your post.

I started in safe mode, then I uninstalled CCleaner, checked my pc for virus or others, and reinstalled CCleaner and now it works fine.

I have no idea what happened before, because I did not find anything wrong with my pc (no virus or others).
