Ok, I've been going thru CCleaner's settings trying to figure out what CCleaner is trying to change in Firefox. I get this message daily, even if I don't open CCleaner at all that day. It usually will happen within the first 15 minutes of booting up my computer. I would like to know what CCleaner is trying to do.
You are not the first to report this with Comodo in the last week.

It seems that Comodo has started flagging CCleaner as a false threat, and is warning you that it is attempting to clean Firefox browsing history.
if you don't manually use CC, perhaps you have Monitoring turned on?
Ok, I didn't look in the bug report section as I didn't think it was a bug at all. I do run it manually about once a week. Yes, monitoring was turned on. If I uncheck "Enable Active Monitoring", will that stop notifications of updates being available for CCleaner?

no.
-> options
-> settings
-> uncheck "automatically check for updates to ccleaner"
that should work
Ok, thanks trium. I just wanted to make sure that unchecking it didn't stop the notifications, as the warning I got mentioned updates themself, but nothing about the notifications.
nothing to thanks
if you want, here the link for What is Active Monitoring
Active Monitor checks for program updates and System Monitoring will check your system and notify you when your computer would benefit from a clean.
