Hey, this is my first post. But I am completely oblivious to what is going on with ccleaner. I mainly use it to clean applications and such, the usual. But Every once in a while I try to do erase free space and every time I have done it, it seems to get stuck in 'Securely erasing a file' it has the little loading circle going. I set it on 7 pass usually around 11pm-12am before going to bed in order for it to work without any way of me conflicting with it. But even with an 8-10 hour amount of time, it just sits there not going past 'Securely erasing a file'. I'm not sure if it just takes longer and I'm not having enough patience, or if it is just buggy on my computer (late 2011 13" macbook pro, with upgraded ram to 8gb). Any help would be appreciated.
Is this CCleaner for mac or CCleaner on a mac running bootcamp?
Does it work without secure deletion?
