CCleaner stuck at 32%

Hi,

I recently have been running into a problem, where when i try to clean inside the program, it runs fine the first time and then the second it freezes. If i try to run it from the popup menu from recycle bin, it gets stuck immediately.

It started happening after i deleted some larger files from my computer. I thought maybe it needed more time and had it running all night and still nothing.

I have 2 drives in my laptop: 1 SSD (C drive) for windows and 1 HDD (D drive). It cleans the one on the C drive but gets stuck on D drive D:\$Recycle.Bin\S-.....

I tried looking for it but that folder is completely clean, not a single folder in it except recycle bin, that is also empty. Yes i have show hidden and system protected files on. Also the recycle bin folder is named differently on the D drive, called $RECYCLE.BIN not $Recycle.Bin like the one it is showing getting stuck on.

Any ideas how to solve this?

That sounds like you have a corrupted recycle bin, (on drive D), it happens.
