CCleaner/Startup

Recently I viewed my startup in CCleaner, there is is an additional column Google Chrome. I am using Firefox so I tried to delete/disable some of Chrome's apps and extensions which I don't use but was unable to.Can somebody tell me why this suddenly appeared in my startup and how to get rid of it. Thank you in anticipation.

Those four Apps and four Extensions are starting when the Chrome browser starts.

Even though you don't use it, you must have the Google Chrome program installed on your PC.

If you don't want Chrome, remove it by uninstalling it via Programs and Features.

If you do want Chrome but don't want those Extensions, disable (or remove) them from within Chrome, Settings, Extensions.

To manage those Chrome Apps, see here; https://support.google.com/chrome_webstore/answer/1053346?hl=en

I believe those are no able to be disabled as they are all basic chrome/google-app components

I just tried on my Chrome and they can be readily removed.

As in the link provided, type chrome://apps and hit Enter.

Right click on the ones you don't want and select Remove.

Obviously you'll lose that functionality and, not being a Chrome fan-boy, I have no idea if Google will try to reload them down the track.
