CCleaner Scan doesn't respect my Keep Cookies List. Am I Missinformed?

I have a Keep Cookies List on my CCleaner Pro Windows 10 app. Every time I run a scan, those tabs in the browser I must always sign back in. Why have a Keep Cookies Column if the Column of Cookies is not referenced during a Scan? Do I understand what a Keep Cookies List is for?
