CCleaner saving cookies I tell it to...

Vista Home Premium SP2, IE 8, CCleaner 3.08.1475 (and last couple of versions). I move the cookies I want to save from the left side of the screen to the right side of the screen (like I've always done). Run cleaner. Proper cookies still remain on the right side of list and remainder on left side are cleaned and gone. Go to some of my sites that require a sign-in and have to re-enter my information. On my home page (bing.com) I lose the settings to not keep a search history and have to close the bing ad at the bottom of the page. Why am I losing my sign-in information?

Do you have "Saved Passwords" and "Autocomplete Form History" checked off under Internet Explorer in ccleaner?

"Saved Passwords"...no check. "Autocomplete Form History"...checked. Keeping fingers crossed...only change I remember making to computer in the last few months was turning indexing off. After posting on here I remembered that change and thought what the heck, turn it back on and try ccleaner again. Whatya know...seems to be working. Don't know what one has to do with the other or if it's only a fluke, but I'll let you know!

Go to "control panel", "administrative tools" (I use windows classic view in control panel, "services", highlight "windows search" and click "start" or "restart" service at top left of screen. I got an error box when the service tried to start so I hit "start" again...got the same error message...so I tried restarting the computer and the index service was running again.
