CCleaner Program will not update

My copy of CCleaner Pro will not update. When I click on Updates under the Settings category in the program, it states that my current version is 7.8.1355.0. When I click on the “Update Now” button, it states that the new version is 7.9.1432.1847. Nothing happens, nothing changes. I close the program and try again - same results. I also have the box checked to update automatically. Makes no difference. I’m using Windows 10 and I am logged in as Administrator.

Try and download the installer from Download CCleaner builds | CCleaner Portable, Slim, and more don’t worry if it’s free and not pro, it will see your license files and apply them.

Thanks for the suggestion and link. It worked.

Had the same issue, but after restarting my notebook ccleaner 7.9 was immediately automatically installed.
