When I install CCleaner Pro on my new Samsung laptop (Intel I-7, 8G, NVIDIA video) the Internet slows way down. When I uninstall it, it speeds up again. 400Mbps when not installed down to around 150Mbps (and as low as 80Mbps) when CCLeaner Pro is installed. Is there a fix for this? Any ideas appreciated. Thanks!
Do you have monitoring turned on?
If yes, does the internet improve if you turn all monitoring off ? (as a test)
Also what security software are you using?
How did you install it, was it from auto updater as you already had CCleaner installed, or did you get the installer from the web?
Thank you! Turning monitoring off made the Internet much faster. I am using Norton Security and it was installed prior to CCleaner. I downloaded CCleaner. I'll make sure I manually run/check since monitoring is off.
