CCleaner Pro Health Check unable to reach server

I am having the same problem. It's grayed out. It's the reason I paid for it, and it don't work

The Health Check 'Security' button being greyed out is not the same issue as the original post.

Is your CCleaner Professional correctly registered, or does it show "(Unregistered)" like this?

If CCleaner is Unregistered (or the free version) that that button may be grey if there is software found to update.

As a double check; what do you see if you run 'Software Updater' from the Tools menu?

It's registered. I know what the problem is. I live in Cherokee, NC. AKA the rez. So the land line internet is slow here. But cellphone data is faster, but very limited for hotspot.

There is a way to connect your phone and use the normal data (not hotspot data) with {name removed}. You have to put the program on both phone and PC to work. Will even tho everything works, BUT THIS PROGRAM. But when I connect to my slow landline internet your program works.

(So the section that says speed it up I have to slow it down.)

I suggest changing the way you verify if there's internet.

Modern modern phones will tether to a laptop/PC by USB or bluetooth to use the 3G/4G/5G data without the need for any third party software.

Modern phones will also function as a portable wifi hotspot themselves, taking data over 3G/4G/5G and broadacsting a wifi signal.

(For Android go to - Settings>Wireless and Networks>More Settings>Tethering and Portable Hotspots).

I frequently tether my 7 year old Galaxy S3mini to my laptop using USB when I have no landline/wifi available, no 3rd party software is required.

If your 3rd party app is blocking access then stop using it and simply tether the phone without the 3rd party software.

Obviously you don't know there is a difference between cell phone data add Hotspot data.

Even if you have unlimited data you don't have unlimited hotspot data. My plan has unlimited data but it will cap out at 75 GB. At that point they will slow the speed down extremely . But my Hotspot data only has 20 GB before they'll slow it down. Using the third-party software I'm able to mask me using Hotspot data. So instead of being caped at 20 Gigabytes. I now have 75 gigabytes to play with.

I'm happy for you, even if your posts contradict themselves more than once.

I suggest that you get a mobile plan that doesn't say it's unlimited and then cap your speeds.

What you have said is that you still have only 75 GB before you get speed restricted, whether you are connecting to mobile data or to a hotspot through th 3rd party software.

However it's my strong suspicion that the entire reason for your posts was to promote that particular software.

For that reason I have now split this from the original thread and locked it.
