CCleaner PreFetch Problem?

I recently upgraded my PC from Win 7 to Win 10. Since then I've noticed that although the parameter "Advanced, Old Prefetch data" is checked, my c:/windows/prefetch/ folder is loaded with older files after running CCleaner. Note that I just ran CCleaner, and after running I'm showing 104 files with yesterday's date or older! I'm now running CCleaner version 5.15.5513, although this problem has been there with versions older than this.

I believe that "Older Prefetch Data" would mean any files 24 hours old or older. So my question: Is this a bug in CCleaner or do I not fully understand how this parameter is supposed to work?

Old prefetch doesn't fall under the 24 hours rule. I've forgotten over the years how many days CCleaner allows them to remain - definitely not as long as Windows keeps them before deleting those deemed too old.
