CCleaner opens then closes / won't open [fixed]

CCleaner pro opens then closes. This happened right after a Windows update to both of my computers.

Since the last update, CCleaner won't open.

I double click the shortcut on Windows desktop; it opens for less than a second and then disappears.

If I delete CC and re-download, will this fix it and will it accept my licence key a second time?
