CCleaner not working on 1607 OS Build 14393.693 / 64-bit.

Hello,

I had ccleaner latest version installed on my laptop ad it worked well.

Since the latest update from windows10 to 1607 OS Build 14393.693 / 64-bit. it won't work anymore and neither does the portable version.

I uninstalled the latest version of ccleaner and reinstalled the previous version 5.26.5937 and this works fine for me but now I would like t know f it is safe to keep using this previous version?

Hey Tom - I have a Intel core I5 processor

I did already all that the moderator explained above too but only the older version keeps working - when I try to update to the latest version it installs ok and when I start cleaning it says the program is not working anymore so I reinstalled the previous version and just want to know how safe it is to continue to use this one? Thanx!
