Ccleaner not finding anything in registry

Hi

On running Ccleaner over the past couple of weeks I am finding it is not reporting any problems in the Registry cleaner. Although this may seem a good thing I am concerned that the programme is faulty. (I have just installed the newest version and again, no problems showing at all).

I have been using CC for a long time and it has always found something to clean in the registry. Any help much appreciated. thanks

Can you please include your operating system info and service pack.

Also if you have another user on the pc and you run it in that account does the same thing happen?

Are you talking months here since ccleaner last found any reg entries?

Have you uninstalled anything lately (so you could see if it would list any reg entries for it)

What anti-virus do you use? Do you use any software which protects the registry?

1. my system is XP with service pack 3

2. Only myself on this PC

3. Just the last couple of weeks no problems found

4. Have not uninstalled anything recently

5. I use MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials), Zone Alarm firewall, Malwarebytes, sorry, I don't know what software to protect the registry is !

It's normal for me to go weeks without seeing anything new on the list.

I'd say you're ok.
