CCleaner Not Cleaning System Temp Files

Using ver 4.04.4197, XP SP3.

After analyzing CCleaner says I have about 90MB of sys temp files identified for cleaning among others. After clicking run cleaner all the other files are deleted but the sys temp files are not judging by the total amount of data deleted. After cleaning, the line entry for sys temp files is missing in the details of files cleaned. Of course I have the box checked for cleaning sys temp files. This has not happened in previous versions. Is this a bug in this version? Is there a way I can manually delete these files?

In ccleaner options...advanced, does it make any difference if you untick the option to only delete temp files older than 24 hours?

I unchecked the option you mentioned and it deleted 90MB of sys temp files. All is well again. Thank you for your help.

No problem :)

And a belated welcome to the forum :)
