I woke up this morning and tried clearing all my browser cache but when I opened Chrome, all my cookies were still present.
I tried closing and re opening same problem. I uninstalled my CCleaner Pro and installed the free version first after downloading but still the same problem.
All my setting are still the same as what I have used for over a month yet by surprise it does not clear my cookies for chrome. I have not yet tested this out for firefox yet.
check Task Manager that there still isn't background Chrome tasks running, even if the browser has been closed.
what is your OS, CC, Chrome versions?
in Chrome, check the Advanced Settings and make sure Continue running background tasks is NOT ticked.
did you run CC with the default settings or have you customised it with INCLUDEs, EXCLUDEs or other enhancements?
also be aware, that if you have paid for the Pro version you are entitled to priority support directly from Piriform here; http://www.piriform.com/support

This is my Ccleaner Information, I did not know about the priority support so I will contact them. I had to try the free version but it still doesn't work too.
CCleaner v5.0.1.5075 : Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit SP1 with the latest version of Chrome. It cleans my history but keeps cookies.
