Is CCleaner not compatible with Minefield? I use the latest nightly builds and CCleaner doesn't clean browser history/cache. And yes, I have Firefox/Mozilla ticked in the CCleaner options.
I guess you answered your own question.
And I don't see any reason why CCleaner should support programs in alpha/beta stage.
Ok. I was just wondering as Minefield uses the same folder structure as Firefox (meaning that %USER\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ etc).
Wait...is Minefield the new codename for Firefox 3??? Cause last I knew, it was Gran Paradisio.

^I used to pre-alpha test it, and there were two versions (exact same except name, as far as I know) and I would always download Mozilla Minefield.
"Minefield" is the code name for the nightly "Trunk" builds, where Firefox 3 development is taking place. I'm on one now, build ID:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2008012504 Minefield/3.0b3pre ID:2008012504
The file structure is not the same as Firefox 2 - instead of history.dat and bookmarks.html, bookmarks and history are now in one file called places.sqlite. No doubt this poses a challenge for CCleaner development. However, since Firefox 3 was supposed to be released by now I would hope that CCleaner is ready to support it when it's released.
Well, I wouldn't complain if there was support for Minefield.

em...
Firefox 3 will use the SQLite Database for saving anything necessary.
I see that this topic has not been added to for a long time, however I would also like to see Minefield supported, I am not sure why it is not as it seems to use the same structure as the released 3.5 version.
Thanks. n
I don't think Minefield will be supported because it's not meant to be used by the general public but more so for the testers of this world. And it uses the same structure as Firefox, unless they have radically changed their profile system. Perhaps a Winapp2.ini entry could be made for the detection of Minefield installed on the system.
