CCleaner makes Win7 Disk Cleanup inoperable?

I don't know if this is the place to ask this.

I am using the free CCleaner, have been for a short time.

Yesterday I noticed the Disk Cleanup function (Windows 7, Pro, 64-bit) does not function.

Does anyone know if CCleaner kills Disk Cleanup or do I have some other problem?

CCleaner does not kill Disk Cleanup. I use Win 7 Home x64.

Open a cmd prompt as admin and if disk cleanup is to be on the C drive put

cleanmgr /dc

Do you see anypopups or dialogs?

Disk cleanup can take ages especially when cleaning up win updates.
