Ccleaner listing uninstalled utilities, can they be removed?

I have uninstalled 7-Zip and removed any traces I could find using both explorer and Ccleaners registry tool. However, under utilities Ccleaner still lists 7-zip. What can i do to make sure it's gone? Thank you

Check there is not a folder left in program files and also check for an entry in the registry using regedit.

It would be under HKLM\software and may also be under HKCU\Software

You'll find 7-Zip here in two locations:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\7-Zip
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\7-Zip

You can very easily get rid of both those 7-Zip references using a .REG file if you're not comfortable manually editing the registry:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\7-Zip]

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\7-Zip]
