CCleaner states the windows update file needs updating. But Windows 11 update history shows its updated.
And when ccleaner updates it stating success… when you scan again it shows need for update like a endless loop
I am running version 6.3 because of issues with version 7..
sadly you’re at a rock and hard place moment. while 7 is subpar (at times unusable) any bugs in 6 will be permanent bugs and won’t, no matter how we beg, be fixed (outside, perhaps a security flaw in 6 before 7 is finished being retooled though both those concept, 7 being majorly retooled and 6 having secflaws repaired, are highly unlikely).
Let Windows take care of Windows Updates.
I have never understood quite why CCleaner felt it necessary to include the Windows Updates in the Software Updater?
If your machine needs a particular Windows Update then Windows itself will give it to you.
(Unless there is something wrong with your Windows updater, and CCleaner couldn’t fix that anyway).
Well the newest release of version 7.0.1 has fixed the problem .
