Ccleaner, Kamo, Word, Outlook will not start from task bar. Upon shut down message: Task Host Window: Task Host Stopping back ground Task. This shown twice. Clean reboot does not help. Web methods using device manager and Settings to no avail to stop this. Running Windows 10 with all updates. Update trouble shooter stays stuck on " Checking for Pending Restart" Device manger says these are running. Need help to correct, reset Task Host from stopping background tasks. Word, Outlook, Excel also will not start. Need simple steps to correct, not a PC or software expert.

What antivirus are you using?

I don't want to pre-judge but as this seems to be affecting Word, Excel, and Outlook then it may be a known issue with a certain AV.

If it is the same issue then we know a work-around.

(Although what you say is a bit different from what has previously been reported about that particular issue).
