CCleaner Just Keeps Cleaning

I just recently downloaded the lastest version 2.02.527 and when I run CCleaner with secure deletion it just keeps going and going and going even on a small set of files (less than 1mb). I have not experienced this behavior before until i got versions 2.02.525 and 2.02.527. Is there a way to correct this behavior? I am using windows xp sp2.

Same problem. Gone back to 2.01.507.

I had the same problem, also use XP sp2. I uninstalled CCleaner and reinstalled it and now is working fine, just as it was before downloading the new version in the first place.

(Although I am using the 35-pass one, and I am cleaning over 3GB)

yep secure deletion can take a while :P
