CCleaner isn't cleaning torrents?

This directory is full of torrents going way back to 2011, even though Utorrent, Utorrent Bar Logs, Utorrent Ipfilter backup and Utorrent More is selected in ccleaner

C:\users\username\appdata\roaming\Utorrent

Any idea why? Surely that directory should be clean :blink:

That directory stores both complete and in-progress torrents. There is no way CCleaner can distinguish between them.

Surely that doesn't matter, if you're cleaning torrents out they should ALL be cleaned!

I clean out after a torrent download anyway, just surprised at what I found :)

won't adding it as an INCLUDE achieve your objective?

I too am surprised;

not that CCleaner refrains from cleaning the folder;

but that you are willing to be a burden on the internet bandwidth consumption of the torrent users who feed you, without your taking your turn to feed others.

Or have I misunderstood the basis on which the Torrent users operate ?

CCleaner (Winapp.ini) and Winapp2.ini do not have rules to remove torrent files and their relative downloaded data.

If you want to clear the above data, right-click any or all of those listed in the µTorrent GUI, then select 'Delete .torrent + Data' from the menu.

Cleaning of torrents used to be in the winapp2.ini (file) years ago, but it was decided that it was too dangerous and it was removed because it could've easily deleted a needed torrent for an incomplete downloaded. I.e.; one of those have fun starting over from scratch with your 20GB download.
