CCleaner is removing Chrome FVD Speed Dial

Hello,

Sometimes when i run ccleaner my google chrome browser stop open the FVD Chrome Speed dial extension displaying a blank screen with the default page, so I need re-download the extension after clean-up my pc with ccleaner.

check it.

You could try unticking all Chrome cleaners in CCleaner, and then:

1. Enable and run the Chrome cleaners one at a time, and then open Chrome to find out which one is removing the extension.

2. Once you find out which one it is untick it permanently.

When using CCleaner,
You can add two folders to its exceptions:
C: \ Users \ USER \ AppData \ Local \ Google \ Chrome \ User Data \ Default \ File System \ 000 \
C: \ Users \ USER \ AppData \ Local \ Google \ Chrome \ User Data \ Default \ File System \ Origins \
USER - change to your user

thanks Bill, hopefully @Everest10 still uses Chrome, on the same PC, and has notifications from this forum still active on the same email address!
